jobs & joys Autumnal dispatch W43
Here’s something to get you ready for the week ahead: Week #43 (Oct 21 - Oct 27).
Heya, here’s this week's batch of jobs and joys that have come across my desk.

This week, I’m bringing you an autumnal salad of stuff. Whether you're looking to dive into products, manage influencer campaigns, or shake global strategies at places like Lego, AWS, or the UN, there's a gig here with your name on it. And for some spark in your life—how about some activities? Baking, cooking, or maybe you just eating or partying? Either way, I’ve got you covered. Not sure why everything this week feels so communal—I guess it’s that time of year, or maybe it’s because I read about 'fællesspisning' and now just can’t let go the confirmation bias.
Enjoy!

Places, events & articles that spark joy

Japanese Private Cooking Class with Chef Emi: Get cosy in the kitchen and learn to cook (let’s say) ramen with the ever-sweet Emi Suzuki as your guide through the culinary wonders of the Far East (ugh, Eurocentric much! I know..).
Private Baking Class ‘Shape and Bake’: 2 hours of shaping, rolling, folding and molding, what’s more fun than physical labour preceding some warm cardamon-y indulgence
Autumn / Halloween Party 2024 by Wholesome Copenhagen: a private cellar with an in-built cocktail bar - say no more. (they cater to non-alcoholic as well)
Fællesspisning: Communal dining is a concept you probably know about but if you don’t, it’s basically a social and fun way to dine in the city without breaking a bank. It’s also inclusive, everyone is welcome and children usually eat for free or cheap - depending on their age. Try it at Absalon, Bette Cafe, KU.BE, La Banchina or Kanalhuset.
AFAIK, none of the jobs require Danish language proficiency (though I’m sure it’s a plus to mention you’re learning). Apply if you have at least 80% match with your CV, but I’m sure you already know all that. Good luck!
PS: if you get hired upon discovering the job here, I’m sooo happy for you. Also, let me know? I’d love to know, you know. x
Do you know of any job openings? Upcoming events? Fun articles? See a mistake?
Reach out! I’m dying to know. (And most likely post about it in the coming weeks)

I’ve seen it in another different newsletter where the author discussed their methodology and I really liked it. How do you know that I have something special to offer if I’m not transparent? Anyway, here are my ways, feel free to try them yourself if you’re not doing it yet to enrich your own job search.
I search (!) in posts (!) on LinkedIn with keywords such as “we’re hiring Copenhagen”, “jobs Copenhagen” or “insert-role Copenhagen”. Then I also comb through my own dashboard, and I keep an eye on Crunchbase, where you can see start-ups that recently got funding (which that means they usually are able to hire more people). Also, friends message me sometimes when they’re hiring.
