about me

I’m Sabina, a digital product designer by trade, substacker by compulsion, and someone who finds deep joy in spotting things others scroll past.

about the newsletter

Hand-picked, Copenhagen-based, English-speaking job opportunities alongside local events, thought-provoking articles, podcast & playlist recs, and other joy-sparking finds.

Each newsletter has 2 sections: we start with joys and then go into jobs (this reversed order works better for audio readers/listeners). Jobs are divided into seniority and then some startup-y and freelance opportunities, so you’re getting a curated selection rather than a random dump.

Joys are things - observations, thoughts, recommendations that ignite a spark. There are plenty of fabulous newsletters that do what-to-do-in-Copenhagen (I’ve listed all my fav in my substack recs, if you’re interested in that), so this is really just Seinfeld-esque “ever notice how…” content to give you something random to chuckle at or tell your circles about.

The methodology, or how-do-I-go-about-finding-these-jobs:

I’ve seen another different writer do this, and I really liked it. Here is how I go about “hand-picking” jobs for this newsletter; feel free to try them yourself if you’re not doing it already, as it’ll enrich your own job search.

I search (!) in posts (!) on LinkedIn with keywords such as “we’re hiring Copenhagen”, “jobs Copenhagen” or “insert-role Copenhagen”. Then, I also comb through my LinkedIn feed, keeping an eye on posts from my circles and companies I follow. Also, Crunchbase is an excellent place to see which start-ups were recently funded (meaning they can usually hire more people). Also, friends (and you guys!) message me sometimes when their company is hiring. 🫶
