jobs & joys Halloween dispatch W44
Here’s something to get you ready for the week ahead: Week #44 (Oct 28 - Nov 3).
Here’s a new batch of jobs and joys that have come across my desk.
This week, I’m bringing you vibes—because the post-efterårsferie blues have definitely entered the chat.
In jobs, we’ve got a spread: tech, sustainability, and creative industries. Plenty of early career roles for my corporate ladder girlies (I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: the word ‘girl’ is non-binary to me). I’ve tossed in some hospitality gigs, chef!
But outside of work? It’s the little things—a playlist to cook to, a peek into books I’m reading, and some soft outing recs.
Enjoy!

AFAIK, none of the jobs require Danish language proficiency (though I’m sure it’s a plus to mention you’re learning). Apply if you have at least 80% match with your CV, but I’m sure you already know all that. Good luck!
PS: if you get hired upon discovering the job here, I’m sooo happy for you. Also, let me know? I’d love to know, you know. x

Places, events & articles that spark joy

This week has been hectic, right? I can’t be the only one feeling it. I’m not out of ideas as much as I am out of the will to leave the house! But even so, I’ve put together a little list of things I’d love to do if I had the energy: Yoga & Tea with Lea on Tuesday, grabbing a Kimchi Gasoline Grill burger this weekend, or diving into Ta-Nehisi Coates’ new book or Malcolm Gladwell’s Revenge of the Tipping Point. And I would definitely not just rot at home—I’d make a day trip to somewhere like Ordrupgaard in Charlottenlund. And there’s this fabulous movie Good Grief that I think you’ll enjoy. Great acting, funny script, beautiful cinematography, gorgeous set design. Produced, written & directed by Dan Levy (David from Schitts Creek). It shows London & Paris nobody in a regular tax bracket experiences, which works as an added bonus of fantasy. Now, I know, you’ll tell me, “Sabina, it’s got bad reviews,” but it’s not about that. It’s about the emotion it leaves you with. We’ve got our whole shtick going here; can you feel it?
Oh, and I have to share this great playlist I’ve been listening to—perfect for cooking or just setting a good mood. I can’t take too much credit for discovering it; someone on TikTok recommended it, and honestly, it almost makes me want to download the app again just for gems like this. But I won't; my superiority complex won’t let me.
Do you know of any job openings? Upcoming events?
Reach out! I’m dying to know. (And most likely post about it in the coming weeks)
